Relationships: Getting Married

So you and your partner have been together for awhile and both of you is ready to take that next step, which involves getting married! Congrats:) Just remember that marriage is supposed to be a lifelong commitment, for better or for worse no matter what, you are marrying the person that you fell in love with, you accepted his good points and all of his flaws. Now it is time to think about what exactly comes with being married. Well like I said before that marriage is supposed to be a lifelong commitment, for better or for worse. Can you picture yourself being with the same person day after day, arguments, the baggage that comes along with your partner? Have you talked about financial obligations, prenups, children, careers, where you guys will be living, etc? If not, well it's time to start talking about it way before the wedding. Matter of fact, I always recommend premarital counseling, or a workshop of some sort. Marriage is a huge step and should not be taken lightly. You will have joy and pain, you will laugh and cry, you will go through ups and downs, you will go through good times and hard times, and remember one thing when it comes to marriage, it's not about just you anymore, you have someone that you will kind of be responsible for, many people don't see it that way, but it is the truth.
